My stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Appi Kogen was pleasant overall, with clean and spacious rooms that felt really comfortable for my family. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of dinner options available. The staff was friendly and helpful, although there could be more English-speaking employees to assist international guests.

The rooms were cheap, spacious, and truly comfortable, making it feel homely for our family trip. They even dried damp ski clothing quickly, which was a plus.

The staff was very nice and helpful, but I noticed that many only spoke Japanese. It would be good to have more staff who can speak English and Chinese to cater to the non-Japanese guests.

The location was excellent for ski in/ski out, which I appreciated, though the hotel felt somewhat crowded with skiers and equipment at times.

The breakfast buffet offered a nice mix of Japanese and Western dishes, but I found the dinner options lacking, especially in Western-style foods. It would be great to see more variety.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Appi Kogen was pleasant, yet it had its downsides. The hotel was very clean and neat, though it shows its age. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, but I found the dinner options a bit lacking.

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, but it was a challenge when they only spoke Japanese. I'd appreciate more staff members fluent in English to assist non-Japanese guests.

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Appi Kogen, but there’s room for improvement. The location is awesome for skiing right out the door, and the staff were super friendly. However, the lack of dining options for dinner was a bit of a letdown. Also, my shower head needed some fixing, but the room was spacious and comfortable which made up for it a bit.

My room was spacious with two beds and a nice Japanese-style area. It had enough seating for six and a decent setup overall. A bit annoying was the shower head aiming in weird directions, but the good water pressure definitely helped.

The ski-in/ski-out access was a highlight of my trip. I could hit the slopes easily, but the hotel felt crowded with all the ski gear around, which made it a bit claustrophobic at times.
